Monarchs are finally being seen here in W.Pa. Had a chrysalis for the first time on Sat 8/10 and another 8/12/02. I am finding eggs and caterpillars. Monarchs, along with many other butterflies, skippers and dragonflies, are flying thru the yard and at my new butterfly gardens. This is the first year for the new gardens, since we moved here 11/09/01. They are much better than I expected with the heat and drought, with no watering.
