the eggs layed 2 weeks ago by the female monarch have now reached their stage where they will begin to make a chrysalis - have 1 so far and about 38 larvae almost ready - they are eating so much of milkweed i have brought inside and i estimate they will emerge around first week of sept. - these will be tagged in case they are the ones who migrate - a male monarch has been in my garden now for 9 days - waiting for more
