Since August 1st, I have started to see many more Monarchs and they are laying eggs. It is now August 26 and I have released seven and have 33 more in chrysalis form. I still have a few more caterpillars I am raising.

I have had much success to having swamp milkweed in my garden. I also have tropical milkweed that I obtained in a seed swap. I am growing that as an annual in pots. Since it is not blooming there are less other bugs, i.e. bees and wasps around. This is where I am finding most of my eggs.
