I helped students in my class as well as in the school participate in the symbolic migration. We have a butterfly garden in our school and this was a great way to extend our learning of butterflies and Monarchs. Students have been excited and motivated to do fund raisers for the Monarchs and I wanted them to be even more personally involved with the other people who are also learning about and protecting the Monarchs. I hope to be able to use the web site more effectively this year. I will be setting up a school wide bulletin board and will be posting information from you site there for all to see. We would like to track Monarchs on a large map as well as post the challenge questions and other information. This site is a great resource and I look forward to incorporating it into my lessons more each year!
