After putting out hummingbird feeders for the last 8 years, other than an occasional vist from one or two, I was shocked this year to find that we have many. We purchased 2 more feeders to accommodate all the hummers. I would like to know when to start putting my feeders out in the spring. The only way I happen to know they had arrived this year was because a friend rescued one from her garage. I thought it was way to early for them to arrive. I love to watch them and they don't seem the least bothered by my presence now. I learned they are very territorial just by watching them each day. I would like to help report their spring arrival. I am a retired teacher and need something to look forward to.
