I did not report Monarch sightings this spring, because I did not see my first M. until Aug. 15 . This is very unusual for this location - we are in a migration pattern and I have literally seen hundreds at the high school track, especially in the fall. I have not seen any evidence of fall migation at all, but that is not strange because it doesn't heat up here for a couple more weeks. Vegetation,in particular butterfly bushes and flowers, have not done well this year, due to drought conditions.
