Released 8 tagged monarchs that were raised from eggs, today. I have ~30 more chrysalises and about a dozen caterpillars--all different sizes. Not many monarchs flying thru the yard..it's been at least 2 weeks since I've seen them flying around and laying eggs. Keep looking, but no luck. Just glad to see the ones I found. They also just cut the milkweed along the roadsides and I wasn't able to check for eggs. A week earlier I saw a monarch on the milkweed. Just a little too late..
