The reason I'm writing is because there have been hardly ANY monarchs in my garden or fields all summer. I saw two frolicing in the field in August and perhaps two or three around the area in the past two months.

At this time of the year there are always monarchs in my garden and in the trees. We have seen hundreds of them migrating up and over the house on their way south. This year there just haven't been any anywhere. Not even noticed on the highway.

This is very diconcerting.
