Our Kindergarten classroom is raising and releasing monarch butterflies. 9/05 we released 1 butterfly and observed 2 others.
9/06 we released 1 butterfly and observed 1 other.
9/07 released 2 butterflies and observed 5 others.

Larvae have been collected from teacher's (janann dostal) backyard milkweed patch and from her horse pasture. They are released and observed from Lincoln Elementary School in Dubuque, Iowa.
