Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 09/10/2002

Number: 1

I saw several monarchs coming in Tuesday evening, Sept. 10. Weather had
really cooled off. Wednesday a.m. I counted 11 monarchs on a hackberry
branch. I saw monarchs coming in again Wednesday evening, but didn't
have time to watch. This morning (Thur.) I have counted approximately 75
monarchs in maple trees. They're up high enough I had to try counting
using binoculars. I'll keep watching!
