While looking for Monarchs I noticed several dragonflies where I don't usually see them. Also migrating? The killdeer were practicing for their long southern journey, circling, calling and landing on the nursing home roof. Hawks have also been moving through the area. Red tails and another that was seen chasing smaller birds to get an evening meal. There have also been a lot of turkey vultures in the past week.
