A beautiful day filled with thousands of Monarchs. All along an 8 mile drive from Liberty, Missouri to my home in Kansas City, I saw waves of Monarchs. In Liberty I counted 15 to 20 per minute while standing outside a store for 10 minutes. At home, I counted 101 in an hour (12:30 pm to 1:30 pm). This evening from 5:15 pm to 7:15 pm I counted 31. All in all a really rewarding day. So heads up on further South of Kansas City MO, they are on their way!!!
