Robins are gathering and heading SW. The wind is NW. The weather forcast says rain tommorrow. We have had a female, fledling robin since Sept. 1, 2002 that had all feathers pulled out of her left wing and three feathers pulled out of the left side of her tail by a dog. We fed her earthworms, mealworms, chokecherries and minnows. This last week, earthworms and minnows were getting extremely hard to find (we have started to freeze at night). Her wing looked completely regrown. The 3 tail feathers - halfway. We saw robins gathered in our yard this morning, turned her loose and she flew away with them.
