Two hours after my first post today saw 2 more monarchs in my yard for the total of 3. All 3 were nectaring the whole afternoon on the mums and marigolds. The first one I reported on was not in as good condition as I initially had thought: tear in one wing close to his body. The other 2 looked fine.
