Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 10/10/2002

Number: 1

I am trying to learn more about the migration of the monarch. I became particularly interested when I was on the Panama City Beach last week and saw hundreds of Monarchs washed up, dead on the shoreline. I did not see any flying. I figured they must have had trouble as a group while migrating. The weather was beautiful when we encountered them, no rain at all, mild temperatures and slight breezes. We saw them in Panama City Beach, FL on the 10th of October, 2002.
