Our first Science Unit for first graders revolves around the Monoarch butterfly. We watched and raised 5 Monarch caterpillars in our classroom. We were able to release 4 girl Monoarch butterflies into our school butterfly garden,at the front doors of our school. Every day the students ask if I think the butterflies got to Mexico yet. We hope the weather is favorable to the butterflies this year and we look forward to the "Journey North", once again. Good luck!
