This evening I found the chryalis. It is bright green with gold dots. My weather station rain gauge reported 3.4 inches of rain yesterday and last night. I have a pastic rain gauge that showed 4.5 inches of rain. I saw one caterpillar on my milkweed when I was looking for the chryalis. I will do another count of caterpillars tomorrow after work.
