Under sunny skies, our entire 3rd grade planted over 100 bulbs around the school flagpole. We're all curious as to when spring will arrive on Long Island. In the meantime, we've been examining extra bulbs...dissecting them, weighing them and measuring their circumference to learn as much as we can about these curious things which we think resemble onions.
