I took 75-5th graders out today and planted the tulip bulbs in front of our flag pole at the front of our school. We have had a few frosts so far, so I felt very anxious to get these in the ground. In fact, on Wednesday, 10/23/02 we had our first snowfall this year. It was quite messy because we are still in fall follage and there were a lot of leaves on the ground and in the trees and this caused many power outages and slippery roads.
