This Tuesday, October 22 Our grade 1/2 multiage class planted our tulip garden. The week before we had harvested our sunflowers and pumpkins and had turned and raked the soil. We laid a grid and the children were given coordinates. Once they found their blocks they planted their bulbs. We made maps of the garden and each child colored in his/her block. It was a cold, windy day but we were glad to have planted our bulbs on Tuesday because the next day it snowed!
