We planted tulips in our new butterfly garden. We planted them seven inches deep at school. Kids also took a bulb home and planted one at home. We have lots of hills around here. We want to see if they come up sooner in the hollows or on the ridges. We planted them in the sun, or they wouldn't grow. We learned that plants use energy from the sun to grow. We are enjoying this project.
