Haviland Elementary School is now a Certified National Wildlife Federation Schoolyard Habitat. The schoolyard contains woodlands, wetlands, meadows, and a river, and is situated between two large lakes. The site also contains several butterfly gardens. This NWF project was sponsored by the school's PTA.
