This is the seventh year we have planted tulips for Journey North and it is the latest we have planted (Nov 5). However, we are well before our first hard frost and do not predict that it will have any effect on our emerging date. With six years of data we have seen no corelation between planting date and emerging date. A good Challenge Question might be; "What does effect the emerging date?"
