On Tuesday, Nov. 12, our third grade class planted 28 bulbs on the south side of our school. The temperature was 37 degrees. Each student, plus two teachers planted a tulip bulb as per the package directions. Then, we planted bulbs with the following variables:

Bulb upside down, bulb sideways, bulb 6" deep, bulb sliced, bulb 10" deep, bulb smashed, bulb broken, bulb 2" deep, bulb moldy.

We will watch as our bulbs come up in the spring and will see how each variable affects their growth.
