An Official Journey North Tulip Garden was planted outside the Main Schenectady County Library as part of a NY State Parent and Child Services grant project entitled GARDN (Gardeners and Readers Develop Natually). The children are focusing on the Seasons of Science and the planting bulbs is an integral part of the fall season. Follow up activities of forcing bulbs and reading bulb-related children's literature will be done at several Schenectady city schools.Everyone enjoyed the bulb planting experience!
