11:00 a.m.- day is clear, temp. around 70, winds mild. I observed 3 females and 2 males in my garden around the pond, feeding on milkweed flowers. 2 of the females were laying eggs. My milkweed plants were literally stripped in Oct. by caterpillars. They all have small new leaves on them. Maybe there will be butterflies for Christmas
