We planted the bulbs yesterday. The teperature was 59.9 F and the ground teperature was 56.1 F. I am a science teacher that organized three 3rd grade plantings. Moms helped and students put popcicle sticks with their names next to their bulbs. They had measured circumference, weight, and dissected a bulb. I am hoping all will come up because I have heard that some classes weren't as explicit with their dirctions on how to plant the bulbs. (Some might be upside down.) It was a fun experience. My goal is to now make two posters for the hall about circumference and weight. Also, to have a map with the tulip planting sights up.
