As we got ready to plant our tulips today, we had a heavy frost on the top of our garden. We don't usually have a deep frost - our winters are pretty mild.

We had a lot of scabs on our tulips. Out of 43 bulbs planted, only 2 did not have scars or injuries. We are interested to see if that will affect the number of bulbs that come up and/or bloom.
