We planted our garden as a school last spring. Our goal is for the children to be able to monitor the migration of the hummingbird and also the monarch butterfly. We also have a monarch garden on the school grounds planted 3 years ago by 14 classes working together. It is also a goal for the children to become more aware of their enviornment and the positive impact they can make for the creatures in our world.
