Yesterday, Nov 30, I found a large nest high up in a Digger Pine tree. Probably 3 feet across and I haveno conscept of elevation, only that it was way up there.

Built on the easterly side of the slope, most of our winds are from the south west. This would be south east of Oroville, CA...about 10 miles. Elevation is under 1,000 feet.

We, the neighbor and us have really not been aware of an Eagle riding the wind currents...about 10-15 miles north, I have seen a pair riding the current over the ridge just south of Paradise.
