Tulips planted just before the real cold hit. Tulips planted next to the house as we are limited to planting location. Will be interesting to see how this affects the blooming time. 12/5/02 we had 8 inches of snow. Wonder if this will affect the bulbs we planted now since we also had a critter (vole) invasion just before the cold hit. Last year had planted 300 bulbs and only a fraction of these grew. Digging up the garden revealed that many of the bulbs were missing. We shall see what the spring brings. Looking forward to it!!!!
