Our first and sixth graders were paired up for the tulip lessons this fall and then planted our tulips together. Even our principal got involved, but asking her husband to help us rototill our tulip spot. Some of our sixth graders made extra credit experiments with tulips, changing the variables of location, water, temperature, depth of soil and so forth.
