Our 5th grade class planted our tulip bulbs on a blustery November day. We wanted to test whether the bulbs would grow regularly if two were planted in the same hole, so we planted some of the bulbs in pairs to see what effect that method would have on the plants' growth. Our location is in the front garden of the school, near the street but protected by a grass buffer zone. They will get plenty of sunshine and rain (we hope!).
