Number: 1

Third Graders at Capitol Hill Day School in Washington DC finally planted 12 RedEmperor Tulips. There has been at least one hard frost, but the day we planted was ~56 dgrees F. Hopefully we will get blooms in the spring. Our bed is planted in the shape of the Louisana Purchase and our tulips go up the Missouri River and then west across the Columbia River to the Pacific Ocean! Photos are downloadable on the Capitol Hill Day School website go to families , go to websites, go to "Third Grade Web Site".
