Large flock of approximately 50 robins seen in my backyard, which borders the Squannacook River. The bird were extremely active and noisy, and were feeding at (?)winterberry bushes and sumacs located along the riverbank. The time was approximately 3 PM, and the temperature was about 6 degrees F above zero. The activity lasted about one hour, until it began to get dark. To my knowledge the robins have not returned since that date.
