Ever since Christmas we have seen thousands of robins in our neighborhood - every nite at dusk, thousands were flying over our house and heading towards a school nearby. we drove over to the school and there were thousands upon thousands of mostly robins but some red winged blackbirds and starlings all eating frantically in the pines and bushes-at nite they were all puffed up in the bushes especially the nite it got to be 2 degrees - most unusual here - every nite now since christmas they fly over go to same area , sleep, and fly back somewhere during the day
