I am aware of a few robins overwintering in Kingston. They are certainly not seen every day, but occasionally, one or two will be spotted in the trees. It is not unusual, actually, to have a few robins overwinter here. But given the very cold winter we have had so far, I am surprised that they have not moved farther south. I do know we had a very good crop of mountain ash berries last autumm and they are still on the trees in great quantities. Interestingly, though, it was not in mountain ash trees where I saw the robins, but rather they were high up in poplar, oak and other deciduous trees.
