Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/03/2003

Number: 1

While walking down to get the mail, a flock of 60+ very fat robins were calling and flying in the trees in the yard. We still have snow on the ground and there was an icy crust, this morning. The temperature was in the middle 40's, but not all the snow had time to melt. It's supposed to drop tomorrow to the low teens tomorrow night and then be in the mid-20's for the rest of the week. Maybe they will head back south if the weather stays cold. There is not much food left, so I put out some apples, raisins and grape jelly(mixture). Hopefully this will help until the ground thaws out. This has been the coldest winter for many years.
