I have seen flocks ( in varying numbers) of robins in my yard - feeding, drinking, bathing in water garden, etc. during the winter. I remember first noticing them in January - but they may have been here earlier (or all along). They are here today - in the rain - foraging. I live 5 miles SW of Warrenton, VA. I suspect they are camping out in the woods adjacent to my house and yard.
