Wow! We had an unexpected surprise when we took our 3rd grade scientists out into the garden late yesterday. One tulip bulb had emerged! Just one little tiny red tip poked its head up through the dirt. Our weather here has been wild with daytime temps in the 60's last week amd snow and 30's this week. Our third grade students come to our center once per week, and all of them were predicting how many more would emerge by the time they returned next week. Everyone was breathless with excitement!
