Have had one female returning to lay eggs on tropical milkweed (A. curassavica) in my yard over several of the warmer days last week. I am gone to work most of the time the butterflies "come out" this time of the year (in the warmth of the day), so I only notice activity on the days I am off work. There has also been some caterpillar activity as far back as four weeks ago. Chrysalid have been produced recently in my yard and my Mother's yard (about 5 miles from here)in the last week or two.
