I am having trouble putting the date on this form telling the date of seeing my first robin this year. It was about 5:00 pm on Sat. eve. February 8, 2003. I spotted one robin in my neighbors back yard in an area where the snow had melted. At that time most of the ground was snow covered. On Sunday morn. Feb. 9, 2003 I spotted 2 robins while driving through Williamstown, WV. These are the very first robins I have seen all winter. Their breasts were not very bright orange as some years back when I would see robins in the wintertime. My son who lives in Williamstown, WV. told me of seeing a flock of 8 to 10 on Sunday morn. Feb. 9, 2003.
