First woodpecker (red head)seen feeding at the squirrel feeder and on the pine tree looking for bugs. Competing for food with the red-winged blackbird. I have observed this woodpecker for 5 years since living in this house, seems to be a little earlier than normal. Have had quite mild weather though.
