By the time the going-home migration starts we will probably have them here by the
thousands, currently it is only the hundreds. They overnight in some of my cedar stands
and each evening you can see them coming in for the night from all directions. I don't get
up early enough to see them leave...


We live on 300 acres of heavily wooded land in the wildlife conservation program
immediately west of Belton, Texas...


About the time they leave the Hummingbirds, Neotropicals, and Monarchs return...


For those of you in Central Texas, this is going to be the best Bluebonnet bloom in recent
years...
