Just a note to report that there have been many robins spending the winter in Southern Ontario. They are the most numerous birds that I see next to starlings on my walks in the woods. A couple of weeks ago there was a flock that numbered more than 200 robins eating berries. (I lost track of my count). There have been 3 robins around my yard all winter!
