After reading the report on the zillions of robins in Leesburg, I want to report a similarly incredible sighting today, February 1, 2003 where my front lawn in Silver Spring, MD is virtually blanketed with hundreds of evidently male robins indulging what seems to be a feeding frenzy. They have been swooping and feeding for approximately two hours. I've never seen anything like it in my almost 40 years of residency in this house. Never in my life have I seen as many robins.
