Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/16/2003

Number: 1

I saw 20 or 30 robins taking a bath in the melting snow along our street this morning. The temperature was 5 degrees this morning so they had to be wondering why they had come north so soon! They looked to be in wonderful condition, with big, plump, red chests! I hope they can find something to eat. There are still some small berries on bushes in our yard but there is no sign of earthworms yet.
