saw three monarchs on a warm saturday afternoon around 12:30-1:00. First saw a female, tattered and faded in color. was flying in a sort of tired way in a courtyard, hitting the brick wall many times and partially falling. later i turned the corner and saw three monarchs - assumed that one was the female i had just seen. got close enough to see a male. the male and another (assume its a female) began dancing beautifully through the air - spinning around and around. stood and watched for a long time. it was a still, warm day - temp reached 69 degrees according to news. the next day was rainy and much cooler.
