Robin (OTHER Observations)

Date: 02/10/2003

Number: 1

I have knowledge of a roosting location that the wintering robins have been using for some 30 years. Every evening the robins swarm, in numbers that are absolutely inconceivable, into a grove of Holley Trees. There has to be millions of them, swarming around like debris in a tornato, as they fold their wings back and fall in for the night. I talked to a lady that lives by the Holley grove and she says they come every year around November and stay for several months.
