Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/22/2003

Number: 1

Since yesterday felt like a touch of spring with the temp. reaching up to 45 degrees, today is a different story. The current temp. is about 32 degrees and lower Michigan has been notified of a winter storm advisory with snow accumalation anywhere from 2-12 inches, starting at noon today and ending by Sunday afternon.

About 10:00am this morning, I was letting my dog outside when I noticed a Robin in my neighbors yard. It isn't brought a smiles to my face to think that spring is slowly approaching. Then as I looked further out into the back yard, I noticed a least 25-30 Robins on the ground feeding. Then as the light drizzle and freezing rain started to fall I thought to myself these guys picked the wrong day to return to Michigan.

But I'm still very glad to see their return.
